Church leaders. Christian purity program developers. Christian publishers, literary agents, and authors. Most insist that flesh-starving accountability is a must if the addict is to escape a porn/sex addiction. (see www.wileygrafbooks.com/news/cure-for-cancer-v6). This despite Scripture’s clear teaching that there is another way of escape. A wholly Spirit-powered way (Galatians 5:16).
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
That most in the Church are not teaching wholly Spirit-powered escape from lusts of the flesh is shocking! Shocking indeed! And is the very reason why A Way of Escape was written.
